Welcome to Reunionly. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the reunionly.app website and platform ("Service") operated by Reunionly ("we," "our," or "us"). By using our Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Reunionly is a platform that enables event organizers to create event pages and sell tickets for reunions and gatherings. The Service includes:

  • Event page creation and customization

  • Ticket sales powered by Stripe

  • Attendee management tools

  • Email notifications for purchases and refunds

2. User Accounts

Account Creation

To create events and sell tickets, you must create an organizer account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Keep your password secure and confidential

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

3. Event Organizer Responsibilities

As an event organizer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your event

  • Honor the tickets sold through the platform

  • Handle refund requests fairly and in accordance with your stated refund policy

  • Comply with all applicable laws regarding your event

  • Not use the platform for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purposes

Content Guidelines

You are responsible for all content you upload. You agree not to upload content that:

  • Infringes on intellectual property rights

  • Is defamatory, obscene, or offensive

  • Promotes illegal activity

  • Contains malware or harmful code

4. Fees and Payments

Platform Fee

Reunionly charges a flat fee of $50 per event to publish your event and enable ticket sales. This fee is non-refundable once your event is published.

Payment Processing

All ticket payments are processed through Stripe. You must connect your own Stripe account to receive ticket revenue. Stripe's standard processing fees apply and are deducted from each transaction. Ticket revenue is paid directly to your Stripe account—Reunionly does not hold or process these funds.

Refunds

Refunds for ticket purchases are handled between you and your ticket buyers. You are responsible for processing refunds through your Stripe dashboard. Reunionly's platform fee is not refundable if you cancel your event.

5. Ticket Purchaser Terms

By purchasing tickets through Reunionly:

  • You agree to receive email confirmations and event-related communications

  • You understand that tickets are sold by the event organizer, not Reunionly

  • Refund requests should be directed to the event organizer

  • You agree to provide accurate attendee information

6. Intellectual Property

The Reunionly platform, including its design, features, and code, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you upload but grant us a license to display it on your event pages.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Reunionly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim

  • We are not responsible for the actions of event organizers or the quality of events

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reunionly from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your event or content

  • Any dispute between you and ticket purchasers

9. Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Reunionly is registered. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
