Reunionly started because my wife volunteered to organize her 20-year reunion at Woodcreek High in Roseville, California — and ended up running it out of a spreadsheet, a Facebook group, and a Venmo request she had to send twice to half the class. I build software for a living, so I built her a page that sold tickets and kept the money straight. That reunion was the first event on this platform and the first customer.
Most of the reunion tools we looked at were built for event promoters and priced like it: a percentage of every ticket, growing as the reunion did.
